The University of California, San Diego will honor World AIDS Day all week with a variety of free, public events, including a
viewing of portions of the AIDS Memorial Quilt. World AIDS Day is honored every year on December 1st, but UC San Diego will
honor it throughout the week of Monday, November 26 through Friday, November 30th, 2012. This year’s events reflects the
“Getting to Zero” theme, language symbolic of the global community effort needed to achieve zero new HIV infections, zero
stigma against those living with HIV/AIDS, and zero AIDS-related deaths. Please continue to check back for updated information.
